This piece is a painting. It is called The Overcomer

Painting is one of the purest forms of art and allows you an immense amount of freedom.It gives you an emotional release and there is no pressure in painting as the individual can use bright, vivid colours or dark colours to help represent what they are feeling or would like to say.

The Overcomer speaks to its audience in a simple yet profound way which offers some form of therapy to its viewer. The blue background represent the sky/ocean an unlimited capacity that embodied freedom which echoes peace of mind. The white heart represent love from pure hearts. This love is all around you. The red circles in the heart represents life (blood) the heart beats and once there is life there is hope.

The hands as well as their sizes represents the various support that is available to you. The two leaves jointed together to form a shelter represents God’s ultimate protection as he is always at the center of our lives to fight all our battles. The colours of the leaves is an indication that God is not partial as his love and protection is for all.

With beating hearts choose to love

With peace and tranquility choose to laugh
